XII - Innocence Gone

Myrsky and Nalle were born in a big kukuri loaf and they were part of it the first months of their lives. All was fine but it all changed when fire nation-- I mean an aggressive prairie decided to attack the loaf one day. The attack caused panic and the loaf split and in the chaos Myrsky and Nalle got separated from their parents. The pups were too slow to keep up with the remaining herd and so they were left behind.

Many hours had gone by and there were still no signs of the loaf. Nobody had come to look for the pups and the pups knew that it was highly unlikely that somebody would, after all the herd had to be far away by now.

The pups were traumatized, scared and hungry. Nalle was crying and Myrsky tried to comfort him but she too had hard time keeping it together. She was also angry that somebody let this thing happen. Why didn't anyone fight against the prairie? There were a lot of strong rooks in the loaf, why didn't they even try to fight back? That day Myrsky swore to herself that she would never back down without a fight...

The pups were about to lose hope when Karhuraivo spotted them on his hunting trip. He couldn't just leave the pups there so he spent the night with them, hoping that their loaf would come to look for them. Their loaf never did and Karhuraivo became their new family.
