If I might make a suggestion, I like Bella as a name (because it resembles the Latin "bellum", war, but also means "beautiful" in several languages). It does make me sad to think of her legs, though; I think it would be nicer if she were stuck in the hospital for months regenerating her legs and the doctors said, 'well, as long as you're here anyway then how'd you like to make some babies?' But then again, war is hell. Anyway, a good and inspirational picture.

Nice job...I like the original even better [link] Please note the date. Same pose, even same techie doodad on the hips. And what a funny coincidence, exactly one year to the date of the original picture. Even the artist commentary is similiar.

Heh, I'm flattered that you'd think I tried to copy that. KB has an excellent composition there, and true, both her piece and mine bear many similarities, but I guess you'll have to take my word for it (and I know it's not worth much to you, seeing as how you don't know me and whatnot) that I thought this up on my own, and did not copy KB's pic.

God, is it goof to have you back. My prime Yellb substitutes (*cough*kazuv*cough*rezin*cough*) just can't measure up to the original.
On the subject of this picture- isn't this almost exactly like that other character- the one who gave birth to a bunch of alien animals and stuff? Except without the magic. Or the real legs/spine. Okay, it is different- but the soldier idea is the same! Ech, why am I complaining? It's nice to see a girl in uniform. Hey! Lets see the rest of the "creator of a special task force" division!

You'll get there someday Kazuv. But right now you're the diet coke of evil- only two calories, just not enough!
I hope that doesn't sound offensive... or stupid...

Nah, I was just kidding. But please never refer to me in terms of Coke products ever again. I consider "diet coke of evil" to be a redundant phrase.

You can't clone super-soldiers if you don't have any to start with- and to increase psychological stability, the GM feti should to be in a same-species womb.

For a name, how about Miata Latikav (I hit some fairly random keys to come up with that one).

yellb In reply to Kazuv [2005-07-04 01:48:28 +0000 UTC]
For random keys, that's pretty good. How do presume to pronounce it?
When I look at it, I think 'My-at-ah La-tee-kav'

Kazuv In reply to yellb [2005-07-04 02:14:38 +0000 UTC]
That pronunciation seems good. In retrospect, I'm not sure how random it really was considering a Miata is a car made by Mazda.

Freeging car commercials are telling your brain to type subliminal messages. Go see a therapist when it starts turning into complete sentences.
