Description Low Sound Quality pony.

He is behind his time.
Be careful, his tape stretches easily.

With his special talent obsolete, he eventually took a job at the weather factory to get by. His mane kept getting caught up in the gears of the machinery. He could never escape his fate.

And ever shall pony society lag because by nature ponies can not do a mid-life career change.

If you had an invention that made weather 90% easier to control or food 90% easier to gather, the sheer number of displaced ponies would crash pony society. Celestia would probably bury your idea.

I can only assume this is why the Flim Flam Brothers are constantly moving from town to town.
They've knowingly built an apple harvesting machine, an open act of heresy, and are forced into a life on the run. They are constantly evading Canterlot's iron grip for fear of the consequences entailed by their actions, exploiting the local populace for sustenance along the way.

>tfw you discover you've been obsolete for well over a decade

This pic kinda makes me sad that I swapped out the cassette deck in my car for a touchscreen head unit. All the good times spent fumbling with stretched-out tapes and tossing them out the window will be no more.

Good times indeed. It's so much more satisfying to destroy some tangible object when it stops working properly. Especially something as cheap and worthless as a cassette. But at least now you're not restricted to garbled versions of all the classic hits, or finding yourself at the mercy of the radio.

Speaking of your car, still the Toyota I assume, how's it running these days?

Yeah, it's nice being able to copy+paste my entire music library onto a microSD card and just stick it in.

My MR2's running great, after dumping ~$2.5k into the engine bay I'm getting +~70whp and strangely enough +~25% better fuel economy. Putting money into suspension now, contrary to popular belief these cars did not handle like "god machines" from the factory.

That's some pretty awesome progress. Good to hear it's running more fuel efficient as well! I'm sure after you get that suspension worked on, you'll be kicking some ass on any closed course.

I thought about putting some work into my ride too, but I'm not too sure I should dump too much money into an old Honda. She's a 4th gen. Prelude that runs okay for an everyday ride. But a ~160hp 4-banger with FWD? I'm not sure it's even worth it.

Haha, I'm not really looking at running my car at anything other than autocross events at the moment.

Preludes are great cars, the h22 and h23 are fantastic motors, and the suspension is pretty well thought-out. As far as FWD goes, they're an awesome platform to build off of. It all depends on how much money you've got to spare and what you're looking for, I guess.

I like the colours you used. They give it a very soft, gloomy feel.
Looks great Cass.

This makes me wonder; does he have a relative that has a vhs tape for a cutie mark?

He did have a cousin once.
But one day the poor guy got his insides eaten by a pony with a VCR for a cutie mark.

I laughed so loud at this!

love the pony!
I actually have a crystal pony with the same color scheme and similiar hair who's cutie mark is a scroll, and special talent is remembrance, so I thought that was pretty cool ^^

That is pretty neat! I don't see very many crystal pony OCs either. I tried looking for him in your gallery, but I couldn't find him. ;w;

Well, that's... interesting...
That must have been pretty, well, messy.
His insides were probably baked into Pinkie Pie's cupcakes, and then Mr. VCR ate them, lol.
Wait, what the- OH SHI- *blown up for making the 89,357th cupcake joke.*

Oh come on! I was only explaining how you left that joke wide open!
