"You're gonna be a great flyer some day Rainbow Dash, just like daddy."This had been sitting, unfinished in my folder for weeks. I thought it would be a nice piece to complete.

Dad: Well, Rainbow Dash... don't stop and become the best flyer Equestria ever seen.
Rainbow Dash: Daddy....
Dad: *smiles* I'd be so proud of you.... my little Dashie...
Rainbow Dash: *tears and smile*
Dad: But until then, you'll need to do your homeworks, eat your vegetables and practice much more instead of taking those naps on the clouds...
Rainbow Dash: Awwww d'dad....
Dad: Hey! You'll need a lot of work before beating me at a race...
Rainbow Dash: Oh, be so sure that I'll beat you someday, d'dad... and that day will be glorious!
Dad: Yes. That day will be. My little filly will become a big girl.... *smile*
Rainbow Dash: *stare at him with tear in her eyes and mouth stand agape* Oh! Daddy.... *flying to her father and hug him*
Dad: *returns the hug* You'll always be my little Dashie *kiss on her forehead* *tear in his eye*
Rainbow Dash: I love you daddy.
Dad: *tight the hug one last time before letting her go* *sigh* Let's go home before it's becoming too dark.
Rainbow Dash: *nod*
Dad: Back home, you'll be able to clean your room.... you know... the one you forgot to clean yesterday?
Rainbow Dash: What? But I did it last week!
Dad: It needs a cleaning, big time.
Rainbow Dash: *sigh* Uh... didn't you just said that I needed to practice more? Cleaning my room would make me... uh... lose precious time for practice and....
Dad: Nice try. You practice in the day, not in the night. Since we're this close to the night... I wouldn't recommend any.
Rainbow Dash: But d'dad...
Dad: Enough. You'll clean you room, little one.
Rainbow Dash: Tsh! Fine. So.... first one at home is a.... chicken! *she flies in direction of their home*
Dad: Hey! Not fair! *to himself* (She surely will be a very fine pegasus one day. I'm sure she'll fly faster than anypony in no time. But what a stubborn filly!) Wait for me, cheater! *begins to fly in Rainbow Dash direction*
Rainbow Dash: Haha! Too slow! Come on daddy, mom is waiting....
Dad: to himself (And a cocky one too! Must take that from her mother.)
