Description
The Lareks have slaves of the Veran race.
KIP blends in as a slave. Verans are a bird-like race. They have horns on the back of their heads with clawed feet. Their tails fan out in flight for better control. The pupils are usually blue for males and yellow for females. As a slave, they're given rags to wear and have a collar strapped around their neck. If a Veran disobeys their master, the owner can send a shock through the body by pressing a button on the leash.
Little about the mind of the Veran is known. How the Verans became slaves to the Lareks is also unknown.
