Wow it's been a long time that a drawing took me this long, I'm so happy that it worked out....at least a little.SO this is Aisling, awesome name btw, she's from 'The Secret of Kells' an equally awesome movie that everyone should watch. I adored this character from the beginning and well I ended up drawing her a bit older than she is, I do believe that she will grow up to be a beautiful spirit of the forest.
THe details did took long and were a pain in the butt but hopefully I managed to recreate the celtic feeling at least a little.
the first one to translate the text written in Angelo-saxan runes gets a cookie : D

This is really beautiful. I have to ask: why runes? I know this ones are Anglosaxon, but the celts used the ogham alphabet, right? Maybe it's just because I relate runes to vikings all the time

Oh, gosh, she looks so mature. I think it looks cool. The whole green thing makes you really think about the religious part of it all, and I'm glad you got the light right. The only thing that bothers me is her left eye. Where's her pupil.
I have yet to find this movie.
