Description This is a drawing that I did specially for someone's Birthday and also, she is someone that I admire. For privacy reasons, I won't talk about her in detail here.

Anyway, this is my first proper hair drawing and I am proud of it! It was a challenge though, to get the hair drawing done, because hair drawing has always been my biggest weakness! There was a drawing that I did last time "Lindsey Stirling" artwork, and when it comes to hair-drawing, I felt fear, hopelessness, because I do not have a single clue on how am I going to get the shadings and the flow of it done nicely.

So, this really inspires me to improve my skills and with the desire to impress someone on her Birthday, I've got a reasonable goal to prove myself that I could do it. The process of me drawing this artwork was, I started out with the face drawing, then the dress, and then I leave the hair drawing for the last, so I paused my drawing here for a moment. Meanwhile, I did a little bit of hair drawing practices because I thought I needed to.

But to be honest with you, the hair drawing practices that I did weren't that good either, I think it has something to do with the power of believe. The moment when I started doing my hair drawing practices, I already had a mental-defeat because I didn't believe in myself that I could do it and I am aware of it.

Afterward, I've changed my approach in drawing. I've decided to continue working on my masterpiece despite of the fear of ruining my partially completed drawing and lack of preparation. For this time, I managed to convince myself that I could do it, I was like: "Hey, I don't really need all these unnecessary practices, all I need is the power of believe!" and then I did it!

The moral value that I've learned is that, the power of believe is greater than the power of practice. I think this doesn't only apply in drawing, it can be applied in everything else in our lives.
