I'd imagine it's because, as you can see in the reflection, there must have been a photo shoot, and when the pupil is put into bright light (Like the flashes from a camera) the pupil dilates. I think

Usually puples dialate (get bigger) in the dark, not the light.. it will get larger in dark to make a wider range for any light to get ins o the eye so it can see something... so i habe no idea why this eye is like this...

haha yuppp!!!!!!! i only know that because i go to the eye doctor a lot. my sight os over -4.00, and i know that they giv you drops to dialate the eyes because staring at all the bright boards causes the pupils to get smaller. they dialate them to check for diseases snd stuff......

This is absolutely amazing. The depths shown within the eye, the absolute darkness of the pupil, the clarity of the umbrella captured in the reflection...I am truly astounded. This is one of the best eye photos I have ever had the honour to witness.

Amazing, just truly amazing.
The eyelashes look as black as they can be, but somehow have a soft tone to it. This is also so detailed its, like I said, amazing.
I also loved the way you blended in the pupil with the soft blue a little on the edges, gives it a softer feel to it. And the man painting the rest of the pupil- what can I say, that is so original! This is indeed one picture in a million
