How do you remove the "dust" like stuff in Apophysis?
Every time I make one I get this dusty look especially round the edges.

Yes, that time the link worked well. If you render at higher settings, the image will improve - but the render time will increase. My average render time is about 4 hours for 3300 x 2550 @ 300 dpi Qual 4000 to 5000, filt Rad 0.6, Ovrsmp 3 to 4.
Some render run over 22 hours, a few near 2 hours. That is with a 2GHz, Dual core, 4 GB RAM PC.
However, this looks like simple a case of the fractal composition itself, the film bands are not what is call grain.
