Dave would find it quite ironic that this is the first picture of the humans I've uploaded so farThis was supposed to be a lot more yellow, but oh well. I wanted to draw a background. I'm always so self conscious about drawing backgrounds, as though people go through my gallery and see that I like drawing people the most and usually just throw in some shit color for a background oh god it makes me so fucking paranoid jesus fuck.
Anyway.
I can't decide if my favorite pairing is NepetaxEquius, DavexJohn, VriskaxTavros, or BroxDave I CAN'T DECIDE so I'll draw them all as time goes on. There's just so many wonderful characters in Homestuck, so many limitless pairing possibilities oh god a shipper's dream.
I feel like a bad Homestuck fan for generally liking the Trolls more than the humans, but there's more trolls so it's more likely that I'd like them the most, right? I have nothing against the humans at all; I love them (apart from Jade, I lean more towards disliking her). I just draw the trolls more because there are more trolls than humans. I don't think you're supposed to be paranoid in fandom, but what have you.
So yeah, John and Dave with a different coloring style. They're boarding the train to COOLSVILLE (John will stay at a motel 8 on the outskirts).

Dude, it's okay. I'll approve on anything you draw because those pairings listed above are all so cool. But it's about time you drew Dave! He's one of my favorites~ And I like the lightening in this, it's beautiful.

They look older here, more like college age then 13. But I actually really like this bg, it looks like something you'd see as a teaser for an old graphic novel (omgwouldn'tthatbeawesomeahomestuckbookholycrap)
And you are totally not a bad homestuck fan for preferring the trolls over the humans, I mean, they're a larger number so the likelihood of you liking a troll over a human is 3 times greater. No problem with that ^^
