I realized that my gallery is sadly short on Zutara, and I had this oekaki sitting around collecting dust. I think this is one of my favorites because I love the way the colors turned out, plus I had a lot of fun doing the details and composition. I was going for a passionate kiss with lots of emotion behind it, and I think I got it. ;3 I don't like the background, though. It's supposed to be the wall of Ba Sing Se, but I got lazy and tired of working on it so it kinda looks crappy.There's another piece of Zutara on the way, and much cooler than this one. Please look forward to it!

most people just use big gushing gashes, but i love the way you made it so much more efective with just scraps cuts. PASION!

Yeah, I think that the scrapes look more realistic and painful, since everybody's scraped a knee but not many people have ever been knifed or whatever. I'm glad you appreciate it! ^^

I love the details, like the whispy strands of her hair and the cuts on Zuko. It really sets a "through the hardship" mood.

Yay! One of my favorite ever pairings. The colors are beautiful. I like something about Katara's hair, it really looks like she's been through a battle.

I had lots of fun drawing all the little straggling bits of hair. It was only after I finished that I remember if she had really been through a battle with firebenders she would either be bald or have an afro... XD Oh well...
