You did a great job on this. The only thing I would be careful about is the tightness of the feathering strokes. It looks like you did them free hand but it still looks great.

I appreciate it. By feathering, do you mean the actual feathers on the helmet or the tapering strokes for shading? Either way, what would you recommend I do to improve. 98% of the ink was done free hand with brush.

Both. If you use a straight edge on the feathering and tapering strokes they will look cleaner. I know most pros like Tim Townsend and Rick Ketchum do this. Hope it helps.

Appreciate the advice. If Tim does it then I'm a believer. In my haste to practice inking with brush, I kinda tried to use it for everything. Need to start implementing the tools that I used before. Thanks, buddy!!!
