We saw white doves at a nearby petstore a while ago and I was so glad that I know nothing about caring for birds because I wanted them as soon as I saw them. Thank God for self-control.

XD I guess the care you give when owning depends on what kind of bird you get and the difficulties they each have. All I know is if you want them to shut up, put a blanket over their head. Also, long ago, they blinded some song birds so they'd sing all the time.

When I worked at Home Depot when watering plants (was my only job, loved it) I was surrounded by doves and they were just the sweetest. Got used to me and I could go about a foot or so towards them before they flew off.

D: want.... stupid pretty cute animals. I once got to hold a pigeon for a while, mainly because my sister and I found it on the steps of the art building at my U, and realized after trying to kick at it that it had a bad wing. It was surprisingly docile, and very warm.
