Description
This really started out as me talking to Lari about the large sketchbook with the horrible paper for Copics in it, and wondering if it wouldn't be good for my Karat Aquarelles. [Because it's thick and porous with a loose texture, a trait found in standard watercolor paper]
So I was screwing around, and this came out. Apparently the paper is good for Aquarelles, but not as good as regular watercolor paper because after a pass of water, a second pass of water will cause the paper to lint.

So, I'm glad that giant sketchbook isn't going to complete waste.

I'm guessing the warm tones were subconscious because I started with a tan for my base outlines, but I wasn't aiming for it at all. I just kind of went with it after I saw it.

Time: 4 hours
Medium: Staedtler Karat Aquarelles, a cotton swab in lieu of a brush for painting/blending

Put up as a print because the hi-res copy was nice looking.
