If you're very clever obsessive SKU fan you might recognize the pose.

I was going to do some fanart but instead decided to go for something a bit more meaningful for the first picture drawn with my new Promarkers. Cuz I'm sentimental like that. These are Leonce (standing) and Ran (sitting). Despite them being super old and dear OCs I have only ever drawn them maybe once or twice and then only as sketches. They're chibis so it's totally not clear but Ran is about 14 years older than Leonce. He is a History Professor in an elite university and has published several history titles. Leonce, his much younger step-brother, was drafted into the miltary as an indifferent, highly intelligent but unmotivated teen and ends up a very high ranking military official at a young age. Ran, despite his vast historic knowledge, has a terrible head for dates and often mixes them up, which is what lead to him bonding with Leonce when they were much younger, as Leonce has an eidetic memory and proofs Ran's drafts and lesson plans for him and has been doing so since he was about seven years old. Welp. That's my little headcanon for my unusual pair. It's also set in an AU where all this indulgent OC silliness makes sense. In context.
