Woo woo! My first deviation of the year...and not too bad at that. I doodled up an evil looking naruto at work and wanted to finish it. I tried my hand at digital inking and liked how it turned out too. : D I had the naruto vs. sasuke fight scene in mind.."What are you??"
"a friend! That's why I'll tear off your arms and legs to bring you back!"

I loved that fight that your referring to, the different style of animation they used for the main part worked well....anywho, what does 'dattebayo' mean? Its just that Im studying Nihongo, and since Naruto says it like every other sentence, its bugging me like hell!!!

Naruto often ends his sentences with "dattebayo", and as such has a unique style of speech. In Japanese, an ending with no literal meaning can be added to make the tone sound tougher, childish, girlish, or many other changes depending on the many existing endings. "-ttebayo", which is not a well-known ending, has no literal meaning and cannot be translated, but carries the connotations of the speaker being uncultured, brusque, and seeming tougher than they really are.

I started learning in grade 7, then did nothing for 2 years and then started again - so I missed alot of stuff, lol nevermind. its funny though, because i know hirigana, but not katakana

Yikes! He does look threatening the way you draw him. I suppose anger management is a necessity if you have an unstoppable demonic being living inside your body. Can't wait to see the fight on TV. I quit buying the manga after Naruto aired on Toonami.
Pretty awesome picture. The digital coloring paid off and looked suburb with the cell shading. He almost looks like a super saiyan though XD
