Description Argis: "Nobody hurts my Thane and lives to tell the tale!"

IF ONLY!

Not the getting wounded part, but the Argis defending his Thane properly part.
My Skyrim character is a squishy-squishy-very-squishy mage and even a single iron arrow can take away half of her health bar... Hence, a good tank-housecarl is an absolute necessity. Unfortunately most of the time her followers & housecarls run around chasing after deer and rabbits while my character is left to fend for herself against trolls, bears, hostile mages and the like. I swear, those enemy archers are like bloody snipers!!! Never mind about getting a single arrow to the knee, but a bushel of them to your head!

Done on my ClipStudioPaint Pro with almost solely on the simple pen brush (except for the background > used some ready tree brushes for that).

Skyrim belongs to Bethesda.

NOTE: With the blood, should this be in the "mature" category? Wasn't sure...

Yeah, of all the different male npc's, the twins and Argis are the least "bleh" in my opinion. Some of the others are just downright scary looking. And then you top some of them off with what I think of as super-creepy lines and behavior... Erik the Slayer always came off all "stalkerish" to me

My first experience with Skyrim was a completely vanilla one > and it scared me witless!   Nearly all npc's I came across looked so terrifying that they just made me feel like running away and teaming up with Alduin to simply "cleanse the lands"!!!

Then, I found the wonderful world of mods and was hooked for life. If I ever learn how to manage the mods and their scripts, I might revert back to the original Argis (he really looked rather cool and individualistic compared to many other npc's), and I might do the same with some other characters as well. Until then, I get to enjoy this sleek young hunk...

PS. Once hired and took out Erik (the Slayer), and his overly chirpy happy wadeva attitude just annoyed the heck outta me... "Go back to yo farm, boy!"

Lol. Yeah, I made the mistake of taking Erik out for a bit of travel on one of my first playthrus; never again. He can sit in his chair and rot from now on. Between him and Belethor, I think my poor DB has her share of icky men ("Do come back." I think not...).

Seriously, some of the npc's in Skyrim need a psychiatrist to sort out their twisted minds!

Lol; there's always the option of letting them get eaten by a dragon when it attacks...

Mods make things a little more interesting  . I have plenty of my own lol. Which is why Vilkas and Farkas no longer have what I think of as runny mascara covering their eyes... Gotta admit I always think of Argis with two good eyes, even though I like his appearance otherwise.

Personally I had nothing against the old vanilla Argis' appearance, just my mod changes all major male npc's in the game and I can't pick and choose, so I've got this version of Argis to live with. The mod also takes away that horrid runny mascara from the werewoof-brothers, as well.

Great picture! Argis looks a bit younger here than I think of him based on how he looks in the game (vanilla-wise anyway), but it fits him. He had to start somewhere; couldn't just be tossed into being a housecarl without some prior "action."

His looks are due to the mod I have.

Lovely drawing! I like the expression on his face, and of course great work on the outfits again. And the snowy background is a good job!

His armour is actually directly from the game but hers is more of a mix-and-match invention of some details that exist in game outfits and some that I've made up.
