Agreed, agreed. I've played through RE4 a ridiculous number of times, and yet I've only ever finished one other RE game... (Maybe because they're harder... or else I just suck...)

I'm huge RE series fan, or maybe was? as far as i remember i played RE0,1,2,3,4, Code Veronica, Remake and even some game for gameboy color - funny times, nowadays RE games don't interest me that much, although i hope RE:REvelations will really bring back some old school RE vibe as for if they are hard, it depends - definetely there are more puzzles than in RE4 and some are more sophisticated, don't forget the horror elementl but i doubt someone who didn't play them before will play them today especially when the control is clunky

I've only gotten to play RE2 all the way through, and some of Code Veronica X. I dunno, perhaps it's the clunky controls that make it harder, I seem to have a hard time staying alive much of the time. It's kinda backwards for me, because I didn't really get into video games at all until RE4 came out, so that was my introduction to the series. I can definitely how different RE4 was from the other games. It's a fun series, that's for sure.

RE2 is RE at it's best Code Veronica also belongs to my favourite entries. My first experience with RE started with RE3 so it wasn't all that big jump for me in terms of gameplay, but, yeah there were some huge changes with 4. I heard Capcom plans some major gameplay changes with RE6 but can't even guess what they are up to, made it RPG or something ?
