Revival of an old character... there will be more to comeI'd classify the coloring style in this series as "mediochre"
I tried a few new things, and some worked out a little bit (but need work), others I might abandon outright next time around.

I wasn't really working on backgrounds much here... I got more into that with the later editions.

She looks a bit like a feline-evolved race in a story I'm currently co-authoring. Amazing what you can get with rancomness, isn't it?
I think I know what you mean about the background. The first character I drew from scratch (although she isn't mine) had no background, the next two characters (also not mine) just had a simple diagonal line to indicate the border between floor and wall for their backgrounds, then I went to a full-blown background for the next image which featured all three characters.

I know, but I can't draw furries worth squat! the muzzles throw me off,
tails are evil, andI can't draw feet, paws or not!
I guess I'll just keep practising, using some tutorials, and try to get my broke ass able to buy a scanner. there's one good one that I want to show.

I think you'd like it. I'll describe it to you as best I can.
on the lower right is a were-wolf type person. he takes up about
half of the size of the page length-wise. his face is drawn in
anime style,
as with the rest of him. he has wolfish ears, pointyhair that is
sort of semetrical. his black shirt says "Why lie? toy're a dork!"
on it in bold white letters on it. His left hand is behind is back,
and the other one is making the peace sign. his pant's look like
jeans, and his shoes are japanese style. (Don't know how I ,
made this work!)
the background is a stary full moon night, with trees in the back.
that's all I can say, onther than it's all pencil, and the wolf's been
'rub shaded' except for his shirt.

I like it, she is very cute. The colouring of her hair is really nice, and her smile is charming.

Wow, there are some pretty nice things going on here. The fur on her neck is shaded nicely, and the shine on the bangs gives it good form. Also, the way you portrayed hair stranfs gives it a nice touch. I think my only grip is that the end of her tail looks like she has maybe a toumor or something. Usually tiger-like cats have tails that taper to a tip, as opposed to a cheetah's that poofs at the end. Of course, Mish is your character and poof just may have been what you were going for.

tumor eh? lol well that's not what I was aiming for really... but since this is a revival, I need to stick to at least a few details of the previous incarnation.
