That little shrimp is totally not all that sane, with all the political feuding and Venetians being greedy little merchants combined with the sack of Constantinople during one of the Crusades. Can you tell I like history?

I don't know for sure what specific event I am talking about. I just remember that when we were reading Romeo and Juliet in my freshman year of high school (junior now) we were doing research about what Italy was like during that time period so we could better comprehend what was going on in the story. And since the Montagues and Capulets have a blood feud going, we learned a little bit about them and that was one thing I remembered from our little mini-lesson that day.

And I totally agree. History is my favorite class. Especially thanks to Hetalia. I almost cried when we studied the Revolutionary War this year in AP US History.

I'm pretty much desensitized to the Revolutionary War by now, as I have studied it every. Single. Year. One year, I learned about it with a British teacher, who was creepily enough just like dear ol' Iggy, so that was interesting. But I'm still sick of it. Get me on War of 1812 instead~ We get betrayal with the N.A. Bros with York and Washington D.C., and British impressment of American sailors (probably Iggy being pissy), and freak hurricane/tornadoes. What's not to like? Nothing, that's what.

And I wish we researched Italy then. But then again, my freshman English teacher was most likely a pothead, so there was little chance of him doing something beyond the curriculum.

Have you seen that song about the War of 1812? The one by The Arrogant Worms? It's so funny! It's on youtube if you have no idea what I'm talking about. I was trying to make my AP US teacher show that to the class... no go. Not fun.

My English teachers are awesome. All three years. My freshman year teacher got really sick my sophomore year, so I was super worried. My sophomore year teacher is kinda arrogant, but he kicks butt. And my AP Lit teacher is the mom of a friend of mine. Small world, huh?

Yes. One of my friends is trying to get my AP World teacher to show Hetalia during class. Then I laugh at him, because we live in Oklahoma and Hetalia is a very very gay show. And completely irreverent and offensive. We Hetalia fans sometimes forget that the show can piss off people-- mainly the South Koreans, but hey, whatcha gonna do?

Oh, I could probably get it shown without pissing off too many people. I live in the surburbs of a big city and my school has a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) club that's really popular. And you are so right, I had read somewhere that South Korea had banned it, and then I completely forgot about it until you mentioned it again... But, I really don't care. Hetalia has completely changed my life. I RP Norway, and then the girl who RPs Sweden on the same site as me basically saved my life. If it wasn't for her... Well, I don't really want to think about it...

Hetalia just made me realize that 'Prussia' wasn't a typo. (I feel so ashamed now, haha. ) I've had nothing really life-changing happen to me, except for maybe a rather large hike in my history grade.

And yes!, fellow RPer. I love finding them, for some reason... But, yes, I do RP Norway. I'm also working on creating a Luxembourg. So far I have a faceclaim for her and I've decided that her name will either be Aurore or Aurora since 'lux' means light in Latin. Although, on the site I RP on, we do have an opening for Spain... (I'm not sure about Romano right now...) Once we get everything fixed up (since we had to move because of a whole bunch of merde) I can send you the link if you want...

Oh, making up OC nations can be difficult, even though I kind of sorta made a Portugal, who actually looks like a conglomerate of all the Portugal prototypes Himaruya did, haha. I would love a link, as I don't get to roleplay Spain very often. I love my Iberian empire.
