100TC #94 - CRYSTAL (KIRBY AND THE CRYSTAL SHARD)Nothing really special, in fact this is probably the most simple drawing in my entire gallery so far. I could have at least given the background a colour, but I decided not to. I would have tried drawing a background of a stage from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, but I haven't finished the game yet, and it's been a while since I played it last so I don't have a clear memory on what the stages look like...
I wanted to draw Kirby from a different angle, so I drew him from behind, jumping up in the air, trying to reach that crystal shard.
Sketched with #2 pencil, inked with ballpoint pen, outlined with black Crayola coloured pencil, and coloured with Roseart coloured pencils
Kirby belongs to Nintendo / HAL Laboratories

I usually use a reference for these kinds of things. But I couldn't find one picture of Kirby from that angle. So, I just had to wing it with this one.
