And forgive me for how rubbish this looks - but it does the job I guess. Since she's leader, she'll probably get her refference updated more than my regular characters. Working on her backstory now

(( Haven't decided on Pondstar's official parents yet, Moonray, Oakpatch, and Shadowedheart are just to take up the space. I haven't actually finished the Warrior series yet either so I don't know who would suit being her parents pelt-wise, so if there is some similar looking cats who would suit being her parents, please tell me! ))

A breeze whistled across the plains, rustling the unruly, green grass that was layed on the ground for as long as the tom could see. Clamped carefully in his jaws was a tiny scrap of fur. A kitten. With a pelt as white as the purest snow, with dark, calico markings spread across her small, curled up body. Even the most foolish of cats would know she was close to death. The long-furred, grey tabby tom paused for a moment to collect his thoughts. Everything from a few moments before seemed like a dream, but the death of his beloved friend stung him too hard.

The clouds seemed to understand what had just happened. It was as if they themselves were outlined in blood, caste from the sun as it sunk below view. Covered in cuts, claw and bite marks lay a young mother. Her usually white fur had soaked in the blood that covered her body, turning her pelt into a more pink colour. Her breath was shallow, and her eyes were closed. There was obviously no energy left in her body. Her new-born kit, not yet old enough to understand, prodded at her stomach. Approaching pawsteps made her eyes open just a slit, reveiling the dulling blue of her eyes. She closed them once again when she saw the familiar, large, grey-striped tom standing wide-eyed over her. He crouched by her side, and she, gathering the last of her strength, managed to mumble a few words.
"Shadowedheart," she breathed quietly. "Take Pondkit. Take care of her. They took Oakpatch. Please - promise me you'll protect her."
Shadowedheart gazed down at the tiny body before him. A pretty little thing, but he doubted she would make it to the next day.
"Moonray..." He choked on his words, eyes clouded with pain from seeing her like this. "It'll be all right, I'll take you back to the Clan-"
"Promise me, Shadowedheart," she urged, voice shaky.
The male opened his mouth, but he said nothing for a few heart beats. He had failed her in every other way, how could he refuse this? Pressing his nose into her fur, he muttered: "I promise."
He did not ask her anything else. He spent the last few moments at her side, curled around the small kit - the kit he had sworn to protect. In vain, Shadowedheart made an attempt to clean Moonray's wounds - though he grudgingly knew that she would not survive.
As the last of the warmth left her body, the tom hauled himself to his feet. He could not afford to stay here any longer with Pondkit growing more and more weak, though he longed to honour his dear friend with a proper memorial like the Clans did for their dead. She had surved WindClan tirelessly and Shadowedheart could remember the joy she had expressed to him when she was about to become a mother. She was a light for all the Clan and her energy and love for everyone never seemed to die out. The old tom had looked forward to watching their cubs progress under the loving care of Moonray and her mate, Oakpatch but now all of that was gone. He could remember Oakpatch's apprentice ceremony. He was a hot-headed kit but a loveable one - and Shadowedheart had the honour of mentoring him. He was full of promise. And the old tom knew he would have fought hard to protect his pregnant mate from whatever had hurt her to that extent. Now they were both gone.
Shadowedheart lifted his nose to smell the air. Why hadn't he thought of this before?! The stench of RiverClan was unmaskable. Even though WindClan and RiverClan shared the same border, this was on WindClan's side. The tom began to boil with hatred. Not only was this disobedience to the warrior code, but why would they do this in the first place? It was practically asking for war! And war they would get. Shadowedheart would make sure of that. And he would make sure Pondkit would grow knowing of this.

The senior warrior firmly buried his teeth into the white, fluffy scruff of the kit and began padding away from the border. He would get a patrol to retrieve Moonray's body when he reached camp, but now all that was on his mind was getting this kit to the safety of the nursery. He knew a queen that had only just had a litter of her own, so Shadowedheart prayed that she would accept Pondkit as her own until further notice.

Shadowedheart brushed passed the bushes that guarded the entrance to WindClan's camp. Pairs of eyes turned to stare at him and pelts began to bristle. A few cats approached him with questions but he pushed on towards the nursery without a word. There in the dark lay the silhouette of a young she-cat, her kits curled up beside her. He blinked his blue eyes until they adjusted to the light change. The ginger queen lifted her head, green eyes fixed on the white-and-dark kit as the tom set it down a few fox-lengths away from her.
The ginger she-cat seemed to recognized the pelt and muttered in little more than a whisper: "Moonray."
It did not take much persuasion to get her to take care of Pondkit until she was old enough to not need milk anymore; and Shadowedheart requested that he mentor the kit like he did her father. It was the best way to make sure that she would be kept safe. He also brought up that RiverClan murdered Moonray and captured or killed Oakpatch.
