I think I weirded my professor out with this one. It's a forest fire, obviously, and I wanted to give an imposing feeling of mother nature's rage. My favorite part of the painting is the colors...love them.This was my first oil painting.
But I used the water based ones.
The actual size is 20x24.

Yeah that was the most intriguing part. In the original photo, there were tree branches, but my professor and I decided that adding the branches might have diminished that foreboding feeling.
