Sadness

Her heart had sunk into her feet. She felt her limbs go numb. Her body was about to collapse. Her hair swayed in the breeze that whistled through the door. She stood staring at him, to shocked to speak. After she managed to get the courage to speak she thanked the officer and closed the door while holding back tears. As soon as the door closed she buried her face in her hands and sprinted to her room. Within second of the door closing, she collapsed into a heap. Hot tears stung her face as the salty water teased her lips; her blood was like steam pulsing through her veins. Her nose clogged as she continued with great emotion. Suddenly there was a knock on the door
"Hon. are you in there?" her mother wisped.
There was no response
So she asked again, this time the door creaked open. Her daughters eyes were gleaming with tears and her cheeks as red as tomatos. The red around her eyes looked like small halos enveloping her eyelids in a cherry color.
"Yea?" she wispered
"Sweetie are you ok?" her mother saddened
"No" she choked "im not"
