Another confetti shot..yeah you could call it a new favorite prop, hehe. I have one more after this that features it. But yeah forget the confetti, look at Lisa! All genuine smiles here, no posing
[Oh and I know the arms are cut off, making her look like that statue that I don't know the name of. I was working with 50mm. please don't point that out!]

I like that you fret about the arms. So much more integrity than many "old-timers." (I don't happen to think the missing arms is a problem in this tight crop. If they were cut off at the wrists, that would be trouble.)

I love this one! Her natural facial expression...yep, I think that's what made this shot pop out from the rest in the series. And the way the lighting fell upon the confetti and that glare smack in the middle of her body. A must to my faves.

Real emotion? Talk and interact. Cause the person to laugh. If not, have them do something that would naturally create joy, like throwing confetti

perhaps when I get a better digital camera, lol. Mine takes a picture about 7 seconds after you press the button, and you have to press it a few times and...you get the point. its not a good camera haha.
By the way...have you ever considered opening up a print account? Your photos are very lovely and I think you'd do well

thanks...I plan to get one soon. With the print account it doesn't cost anything though---you can have a print account without even having a subscription, and you don't have to pay for anything. Of course this means DeviantART will take a larger percentage of what you make, but its better than nothing. Otherwise you can get the print account you have to have a subscription for, and this enables you more options or whatever, and you get better pay.

it is no problem, i think the rule is not to cut off the hands and legs in "moving parts" (sorry i dont know the expression) like knees or elbows. the photo is very nice
