I love the shading and feel to this pieace. The hair is perfect for a clydie however it ends at the start of the muzzle, I don't know if its normal or not because my clydies face is full of hair.... Anyway .. this critique isnt the best but I gave it a try but now I must try and give some imput.... normaly on a clydie the have small blacky brown patches around the muzzle and just a few more comments.... The flow of the foelock is beautiful like the winds blowing the forelock around. I also noticed there is no hair around the top area of the cheek. I really like the hair. I think it flows very nice. It ends abruptly at the snout though, and its a little noticeable. What program did you use? For something like this, realism, I would use painter, not Photoshop. Thats me though. The eye could use a reflective white spot. The way it was drawn, it looks like the horse is distressed. thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to crit this. I did use photoshop to do this, what is painter and where can I find it? I do agree with the eye part, I struggle most with that >.< and yeah he's tossing his head up so I don't mind that he comes off as a bit distressed. And I will see what I can do to fix the abruptly ending hair too!

Painter is a corel tool. I bet that you could google it. I think I got mine as the education edition, much cheaper than the professional. Anyway, it is much easier to blend and make fine lines than photoshop, but that's my opinion. :3
