I agree.
But.... uh... isn't it the most hated day of the week? I guess that would give it more love. A tiny bit.

That's what "Monday" originally meant in Old English = "Moon's Day"

What this guy said. My friend told me this on Skype.
"The English noun Monday derived sometime before 1200 from monedΓ¦i, which itself developed from Old English (around 1000) mΕnandΓ¦g and mΕndΓ¦g (literally meaning "moon's day")"

Silly Luna, don't you remember that Monday is Moonday? We spelled things differently back then

Don't forget the 'fancy speak' for monday is 'lundi', of which, I'll point out that 'fancy speak' for Moon is 'lune' (hence the name, Luna).Β So, direct translation of 'fancy speak' monday is Moonday.Β So, yes, I support this proclamation, wholeheartedly.
Disclaimer: 'fancy speak' = French.

I support this decision. And if Equestria ever has elections, I'm voting for you Luna!
Edit: I think there should be one day per week where the sun gets not risen. Where it is dark 24 hours long.
That would ponies teach to appreciate the night more.
