This is really awesome! However I think that it would look a little more real, like the spots are really a part of the horse, if you smudged the fur less--like when you smudged to create unevenness in the white markings? Remember that markings on horses do not only have little swirls of fur, but they are lumpy in some places and uneven. I think keeping that in mind would help. Of course that does not at all mean that the markings do not look real--they look incredible!
