the official manga translations are never quite correct. often enough they have mistakes inside.
Fans translations are usually always more correct. They do it with more heart and think about how to word it instead of just changing a whole sentence sometimes like official manga translations do... So itยดs not wrong actually and more correct.

for example in the latest junior high volume 4 I spotted already 2 big mistakes.
one time they changed a part where they bribed Levi to come to his birthday party the 1st and 2nd years Eren and co will hold for him. It says in the original if he doesnยดt show up theyยดll make Hanji run around naked in the school halways.
manga changed translation:
Theyยดll make hanji run around in the school hallways and whatever theyยดll see it wonยดt be pleasant for the eyes. (The naked part got cut out)
Another time the official translation said in a part that Hanji is happy that she needs not to buy a new heater because the weather got warm suddenly and was about to even strip from her clothes until levi kicked her into the ground to stop her lol XD
Changed translation:
She wanted to strip because it got so warm suddenly and reveal herself... (Heater got completly cut out)

those two parts yes. well thereยดs more stuff that happened. vol. 4 had many levihan moments.
vol 1-3 from junior high had many moments too. like levi cooking for her, the whole no name band which wasnยดt in the anime shown at all. And other small stuff since they always are next to each other ALWAYS.
