All your self portraits are wonderful, but this one, with the angle of your head, and the fact that is is B & W, was a stand out for me. I even like the soft focus. Bravo!

Some feedback back to you...
You are clearly a macro photographer (at least your best shots are macro and I see most of your pictures are macro).
I checked your other self-portrait too. The more popular one in color. And they both seem to have the same problem. Very boring backround. Sorry for being so blunt, but the backround is really important in portrait shooting. Even there is a lot of bokeh and it is really blurry, the feeling is dependant of the backround and surroundings. There should be something else than a grey wall with couple of pipes on the back, unless there is exceptionally great looking grey wall with couple of pipes that is, but in this case it isn't.
I mean, everything else on these two portraits are on good basis, but they both could be astonishing rather than OK with greater backround.
This one seems a bit off-focus as the camera should always be focused on the eyes on portraits (Or is the post-processing?). The focus seems to be stronger on pants and the lower pipe.

At least on your 350D you can have them focused no problem using one of the different focus spots
