Another quick comic to fill the gap while I complete 'Denial'.This time we go back to Mass Effect 1, where I noticed Garrus in the scene where he thanks Shepard for allowing him onto the team, he hesitates, like he was wanting to say something to her. So like the crazy fangirl that I am, this popped into my head, and I just had to put it onto paper.
It's so disappointing that Garrus isn't a romance option in the first game, but it is interesting to see how Shep and Garrus' relationship develops. I think, (in my own little world) that they were attracted to each other from the start, but with things still being a little fragile between humans and Turians, their union would be somewhat forbidden. Which makes this concept so appealing.
Sorry about the pic quality again, I really need to buy a scanner. The camera is crap lol. I promise I will replace with a better picture ASAP.

Two romance options that should have been available in ME1: Garrus & Wrex. The romance with Garrus is so beautiful! It should have started much sooner in my opinion. As for the Wrex romance: It might be a bit of a train wreck, because we all know how Wrex can get, but it would be interesting/entertaining to see how it plays out.

Nice job! I thought this also and was it my imagination or did Garrus tend to always step in front of the commander when the geth were around? A very lovely little comic.

Yeah- after I made a Shepard for the Garrus romance and went back to replay thru the first game- I noticed this to.
I like it because it could be nothing, just him trying to properly express gratitude for being granted the opportunity to be a part of something so big, or if you have the romance with him in 2, then like you have here, it could be the beginning of the attraction.

When I noticed it, I did wonder whether or not the dialogue was the same with Male Shepard, so I went onto YouTube and saw that they were infact the same. So yeah, it could just be Garrus, like you say, trying to express his gratitude to his new friend. Or, if you're a FemshepXGarrus fan, it translates into so much more

In my own headcanon, the fact that Shepard is openly dating Garrus encourages lots of other people from mixed relationships to go public. I mean... we see a LOT of mixed pairs on Citadel in ME3. Something that was absolutely not there earlier XD
