Just another random fanart with a new colouring style which is easier and faster than my old one!
I hope you like it! <3 Althought it is only for practice purpose ;D
This is Kuriyama Mirai ~chan ^.^ from Kyoukai no Kanata

haha I can say you why she is so popular. She is from the anime Kyokai no Kanata from KYOTO ANIMATION.
And if you know the works kyoto animation made. . . They did made K-On
one of the first series were moe played a real role in anime history
They also did tamako market and free and a lot more awesome pieces. So the animations are quite cute ;D
Therefore she is quite famous althought the anime itself isn´t that interesting xD.

I have no idea but I do not think so.
Animation studios normally have their staff which is working on the animation scenes.
I ones saw a video how anime is created. First they do really really roughly sketch the scenes after another.
After that more people are working with the sketches. And I think if you work there the drawing style of yours should suit in the one of the staff.
It is not really like they doing character design. Because the characters already exist in their original form of work for example Light novels the characters are already drawn by an illustrator.
