Yeah he wasn't the greatest, but jesus fuck Nightcloud was no better. Not at ALL.

She was such a hypocrite, going on about how Crowfeather never loved their son, but she never let him near Breezepelt when he was young. She coddled him and basically brainwashed him into thinking his father was a dick and didn’t care. Honestly that’s more abusive than anything Crowfeather has done: being overprotective can be almost as bad as being absent in a child’s life. I like Nightcloud in Crowfeather’s Trial, but before that she was rude, pushy and abusive towards Crowfeather
