Nguvu lost their home, lost their king with Hisada now claiming he was the new ruler- it didn’t sit right with Inaya. Had the flood, the storm itself that took so many lives a punishment on her pride? Nguvu seemed to have been affected the most out of the other two prides- maybe it was an omen? It filled her with Anxiety just thinking about the gods not being happy with them, their ancestors being furious, after the rebellion that pushed Nguvu back into the old ways and views on females within the pride.

Hisada had made it known he expected everyone to do their part in bringing new blood- be it the birth of cubs, convincing outsiders to join Nguvu and something that Inaya felt would start a war- stealing cubs if they had to. She did have some hope though- Inaya wasn’t the only one who knew something had to be done to save their pride, not everyone saw Hisada as their king

So this was the first time I have drawn since 2013. I first sketch it on paper then saved it onto the computer, before tracing my sketch on MS paint.
