“I--I don’t know, Xemnas. Axel was telling me some things about where Roxas was, and…I went there to visit, but, I only found Sora. I decided to search Twilight Town and then Hollow Bastion. And--” Saïx began, trying to force out some kind of explanation. But he was soon cut off.
Xemnas looked at him seriously. “Saïx, why did you go there? You could have been killed! Why did you go after Roxas?”
Saïx was just silent. The Diviner didn’t move, either. He didn’t want to upset Xemnas again. “I’m sorry.” his head drooped down, and he diverted his eyes away from Xemnas. He was trying not to make any eye contact. “But…I needed…” he stopped talking.
All Xemnas had to do was pieces together about what Saïx would say. He knew him well enough.

But I needed to see him.

A sigh passed slowly through Xemnas’s lips, and he reached his arms out to wrap around Saïx. The Diviner still didn’t look at him. He just let Xemnas hold him there.
“Roxas…isn’t coming back.” Xemnas explained. “He’s…non-existent, now. He’s not going to be back with us. He’s a part of Sora, now.”
Saïx buried his face in Xemnas’s chest. You could hear a soft sobbing. “Roxas…” He whispered.
Xemnas couldn’t be mad at him for this. It was hard to hate Saïx was still worrying about Roxas. Actually, It was hard to be mad at Saïx for anything. He was too innocent. He was too perfect.
“Shh. Just calm down. Saïx, I’m here. I’m not leaving you anytime soon. Don’t worry.” Xemnas was stroking Saïx hair, and also rotating it within rubbing parts of his arms and back, trying to calm down the Diviner and make him feel better. It was hard to make Saïx stop crying sometimes. Depends on what it was over, normally.
Saïx looked up to Xemnas’s eyes. His cheeks were wet. If anyone else who wasn’t Xemnas was here, they would say that it wasn’t Saïx. Saïx never cried. He was always the aggressive one. But for Xemnas…he was what he really was. Saïx could open up to the superior. He could let out anything that was bothering him or just anything in general.
“Please don’t chase after that boy…It’s dangerous. Stay here, Saïx. Stay with me.” Xemnas murmured into the Diviner’s ear.

“Luv, Xaldin’s been at that creatures castle for too long. I even got word that Sora was seen stalking around there. I believe that he’s dead.” Luxord explained.
Xemnas nodded. “Thank you for the report.” her looked at the ground, thinking of a way to fix all of this. The Organization was slowly dying. There was only a few left. Himself, Saïx, Xigbar, Luxord, and Axel. Not that Axel mattered since he was a traitor as it is. And he had sent Saïx off on a little goose chase to look for Roxas.
Saïx looked worried. “You don’t think that he’ll come here, do you?”
“Dude! I doubt it. Even if he did, I’d just warp in, shoot him, and all out worries would be done with!” Xigbar shouted out, just wanting to slide himself into the conversation, as always.
“Not necessary. He shouldn’t be able to get through the doors. Not without heartless and dusks, along with other nobodies, chasing him down and attacking.” Xemnas said. He was honestly hoping that Sora wouldn’t get this far. It’d be a lot to bring a little five foot, five inch boy down. Just because of his stupid key.

I need to think of a way to keep the ones who are left, safe. That’s out only way.

“Luxord, head Sora off at Port Royal. Do whatever you can to stop him from continuing on. Xigbar, you do the same but go to The Land Of Dragons. If he gets past either of your defenses, report back, and then stand guard here.” Xemnas ordered, losing track of time while he just remained quiet. Only a few of them left. This little boy was becoming a nuisance.
Xemnas didn’t want to make Saïx go anywhere to do anything. He didn’t want to throw Saïx out for a practical suicide mission. It was only a matter of time until Sora made it here. It was an impending doom that hung over each one of their heads.

I have to protect Saïx. He can’t non-exist. He shall stay here with me, and I’ll keep the Diviner safe. It was easy to tell that I could save that bright fire in his soul. I could keep my Saïx alive, and keep him from suffering.

“Everyone, man your posts. We need to cut off Sora and keep him away. You may leave now.” The Superior announced, and then Xigbar and Luxord fazed from the room, leaving Xemnas and Saïx sitting alone on their chairs.
“We should go back to my room.” Xemnas murmured, and then watched Saïx nod, before they both disappeared and reappeared inside Xemnas’s room. Xemnas automatically walked over to Saïx, grinning, and wrapping his arms around the Diviner. “You need to stop worrying so much. Nothing will happen.”
Xemnas made it so there was not room in between them, and he roughly kissed the other. A swirl of bliss crossed between them as the kiss has slowly softened. The air has a slight electric charge around them now. They were holding each other tight, giving each other the feel of being safe, being loved, being wanted. They gave each other such a strong sense of security.
Gravity had finally left their shoulders, making them feel as if they were floating. It was a fluffy experience, to say the least. They both needed to un-tense a bit. This is the exact thing that could do that. They had the perfect effects for each other when they were close. It held the two together. (To the duct tape! XD)

Saïx is becoming restless. I need to keep him feeling safe and secure. I need to find a way in which I could easily do that. He’s becoming aggressive and worried due to the problems of what is to come.
