A little drawing I was inspired to do after watching Martian Successor Nadesico. I'm glad I finally went back and was able to finish the series with having all the dvds this time around. Ruri is one of the best characters in the show, in my opinion.sakura micron pens/ color pencils

I always really liked her. Kind of a female chibi Mr. Spock, I always thought.
Pity the movie where she was promoted to captain made little-to-no sense and ended up creating more unanswered questions than the series.

The lineart is pretty terrific and the coloring's good too. I'm kinda neutral towards Ruri but I like this nonetheless.

Yeah, my friend has taken a particular liking to her. I particularly like her in the episode where Akido goes into the ship's computer and she's perched on his shoulder in chibi-avatar-form.
