This is the finished Alarice, too bad the detail kind of got lost when I resized it.... oh well.First time I actually focused on the color palette. It's not so bright and tacky where it looks like I was taking LSD when I colored it. =w=;;

Yes she does actually! I was going to turn this into a story but I'm not sure if I'll continue it.
basically, she's the personification of Vanity. She was born into wealth and royalty and is a spoiled brat. The reason she has those crystals on her face is because she ate a "forbidden fruit" that was rumored to give the possessor eternal beauty, power, and wealth, but instead took over her body like a seed. Technically the crystals are pretty, worth a lot, and are fused into her bones making her indestructible. I really have no idea how I came up with that. XD;;

Oh wow that's a really really cool idea. Like I want to use that now. But I won't, of course. But this is such a cool piece of art in every way. I can never come up with story ideas or clothes. Hmhm. You should continue the story though it sounds like something that should be published.

The details (netting, pinstripes, hair) are absolutely incredible, and I love the purple/ army green color combination! I've never seen that combination before, how did you come up with it?

Well, it had been a fad around where I live to pair camouflage cargos with pale or less saturated pinks or purple tanks and tees. So I guess it kind of stuck with me! And I also have a tendency to fool around with colors to see if they look good haha
