Recent Homestuck updates made me want to draw her :C And all the other Ancestors. I may do more of them, but I really wanted to do Dolorosa. I love her and everyone's story ahh <3Spent way too much time on this (probably more with the coloring) but overall okay with the result! it was my first picture fully with my new tablet. I dunno if it shows xD did something a bit different with the clouds than I first planned too. I think it looks okay.

Yes, it definitely DOES show that you have a new tablet. This is really, really beautiful, I love it.

eee thank you <3 I was afraid the colors were going to clash too much lol. And there's not much more difference to the tablet other than it's VERY pressure sensitive which I love.

No, the colors go great together. And I don't know if this has anything to do with drawing, but my cousins - who love to use mascara, and eyeliner, and makeup - say that in order to bring out someone's green eyes, you have to outline it with purple. I wouldn't be surprised if this same rule applies to drawing. It's definitely very interesting.
That's funny, I never really cared about pressure sensitivity. xD I dunno, I just never bothered with it... is it that important?

I don't know too much other than basics with color theory but purple isn't far off from green's complement. I do think the colors go well together.
You don't use it? I find it really important, yeah. My lineart completely relies on it for sharp edges and like in this piece I used a very soft brush to erase and shade everything, in which I might not have gotten the tones that I did if everything was so sensitive.

do you have elements that came with your tablet? that should have pen pressure if you want to use it

Um... I'd say end of Act 2 ([S] WV: Ascend) but honestly it's just midly amusing. you gotta have a sense of humor to enjoy it. You won't understand it right away at ALL but that's the fun of it.
