There is nothingNothing good
Nothing real
Nothing of worth
None of that is left
This could be argued
But where would that go?
I'll say I'm right
As long as you say I'm not
No heart is left
Feeling is feeble
It's for those
Who have something they will
Leave behind
Besides a string of nothing true
And a sad song, with nothing to it
So sing a song
A song of yesterday
How it seemed so bright
And there was no smoke
Covering up the unspoken truth
The truth is
If I had to leave you
Who would you miss?
The person you saw
And thought was real,
Or the face behind the mask?
Nothing is what I leave you
Because nothing is what I have to offer
I came to you,
Broken and unfixable
But so you see,
I'm not something you can repair
You see, these cracks to my surface
These you don't see
These will last forever.
I fill in the cracks
Who knows how long exactly
They keep my life on that line
The one between standing straight,
Having someone guiding
And falling on your face
Left to pick yourself up, alone.
So sing a song
A song of the future
How dim it is
Of how you can barely
See your face
Among the smoke and mirrors
Nothing is what I started out with
Nothing is what I've become
And all you will ever see in me
Is nothing

It may sound odd, maybe not, but that sounds very much like what I do. I believe it, but I don't follow it. I was just surprised how similar it sounds to myself..

Living times are always for good...it just depends the way you see it. If you look for a flashlight, you'll always see its shadow first. Look past the darkness and into the light.

People can't fill cracks if they can't see them. Pain is always there- you should be kind to everyone you see because everyone is fighting their own kind of battle.
If you want to find someone who realizes the pain you (or anyone, for that matter.) is in, maybe you should try finding yourself first.

I can't say that I understood it best...there are probably people in the world who know worse thing than I do.
That perfect person you read about in books...he/she's not real. Everyone has their own problems...Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Nobody else so far seems to understand that well. You've told me about what you understood in it and it was things I looked over..
But at the very least I know you think the same way, that there is no perfect person and just living, good times or bad
