Sorry for the lack of updates. This is probably the busiest I've been in a while, and my Sugimori-style art takes a back seat to everything else I've got going on.My artwork for Noivern, the Flying/Dragon-Type PokΓ©mon in X and Y. I wanted to make a more dynamic pose, but I just couldn't get anything to look right so I just went with this. I plan on making a better version in the future (if I get the chance).

I was very specific about the Noibat I wanted to catch in my Y game(since a Noivern in my stories was a male named Nomis), so when I was putting around in Victory Road after beating the game, I found a level 58 male Noibat, caught it in my first Quick Ball, and named him Nomis. I modified his moveset a bit with TMs, leveled him up once and evolved him into Noivern. He also helped me catch Sky Armor, my new Skarmory.

I mean, not necessarily. Look at Flygon; he has amazing wings but he's Dragon/Ground and levitates. That's a good example of what I mean. Besides, having wings doesn't implies that must be Flying type (aka Thornadus or Gyarados)

At first I thought "Swoobat evolution??", but then I realized Swoobat is way to lame to become a dragon type(and it's already psychic/flying). lawls
But seriously that Poke'mon was so bad for my team, it like destroyed my chances when I got far into White. x: They do look pretty similar, don't you think so?
Noivern kinda seemed like if it didn't evolve it would be an addition to the Seviper and Zangoose ordeal, I dunno.

This is one of the two only decent Pokemon besides the main legendaries I have seen so far. I think I might finally be done with the series unless they really change something; this is why I may stick with the Mystery Dungeon series.

It just isn't a very creative sounding type. Just seems that they'll make some of the psychic ones into fairy, and then just make a bunch of lame cutesy things. Β I'll change my mind if I see some good fairies.
