Description
My artwork for Heatmor, the second version (normal and shiny colorations). One of the many Unova sketches I needed to complete. My old Heatmor artwork wasn't very different from the Sugimori art, so when I was coming up with this pose I wanted something more dynamic. The color of the flame varies with its shiny version, I believe, so I did that here. I don't have a good reference for it, though, as I can't find full sprite sheets / .gif files for the shiny sprites. A lot of PokΓ©mon have specific differences that aren't normally visible unless you see the whole animation (like different mouth colors, etc.).If you wish to use this artwork, all I ask is that you credit me for it, if possible - no permission is needed. Heatmor is a pretty good PokΓ©mon in my opinion despite it's Defense, Special Defense and Speed being a little low. But effort value grind for those 3 stats and Heatmor is a pretty good PokΓ©mon in my book.

I want to, but its stats are just too lackluster, even for in-game. Maybe one day...

I really like Heatmor. But it's SUCH a shame that it's not actually a particularly powerful pokemon...

Actually, it is pretty strong and it is pretty good at using special attacks, like Flamethrower.

I'm not saying it's useless. But for sure, there are a dozen other pokemon of the same type that can do the same job 150% better.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just to experiment with other PokΓ©mon sometimes. Sure, Heatmor may have it's flaws, but if trained right, it can still be a good PokΓ©mon.

This is my first Generation V shiny Pokemon! I love the shiny coloration, however mine has the ability Gluttony as opposed to Flash Fire -_-'
