Your coloring skills are really coming along quite nicely, I'm loving how your technique is evolving, such a pretty picture as ;w;
They're all so gorgeous~

Thank you, thank you. ///_^
Kind of long, but I'm going somewhere with this, haha:
I look at people like you or =Lawliepopsu , another old friend of mine who isn't really male, by the way, heh, and you guys have very distinct art styles. Some other examples are the first and second members of the ~InfinityWork . I can tell it's your (or their) art by the way the body is drawn, how the colours are done, how the shading is done, et cetera... For me, it seems I have yet to actually pick an art style to stick with. I guess "I'm in the market, as it were." At least the Zexion comics have a consistent line-art style. But when it comes to how to colour or shade things, it's so hard to find one that I really like. However, in this picture, the way I ended up colouring their hair and skin is probably my favourite way yet! So that's exciting.
I kind of wish I was able to colour like this: [link]
Or hell, even this: [link]
No idea how to even begin, though, haha.

Aw, thank you so much, I've never been told I have a consistent style before ;w; ... Half the time I'm just winging it lol.
But yes, your artwork and coloring techniques do seem to be improving, one thing that I see as a constant however is that your colours are always glowing, especially around the face, it's actually quite unique, I've never seen anything like it. It's very pretty.
Those two picture links though, so pretty~!
The one thing I have the most problem with though is colouring, especially digitally, because I was colouring traditionally for so long, going over to digital is really difficult to me. But I still try and get better at it, one of my major problems with it is shadowing things and making those shadows dark enough. Also I've noticed when doing digital art, you have to rely more on colours and less on line-art... And I've been doing the opposite for so long.
It's difficult :I

Welcome! I really do like your style, Rabid. I've also yet to see anyone with a similar one.
Hmmm... yes, the glowing is something I've tried to have as the prominent effect in my pictures. I love shine. [link]
If I could live in a house made out of chrome and have pure white lights everywhere in it, I would. It's a good thing I dont know how to make Star Trek-esque lens flares, or else you'd see nothing but lens flare, lol.
Good point about relying more on colours than line art. It's true. I've never really thought about that before. And how do you shade things? Directly on the layer with the base colour, just using a darker version of the colour? Or perhaps making a new layer (or a copy of the layer, albeit making it completely white) and then using the multiply function (or the equivalent in whatever painting software you use) and a shade of grey? Or possibly a different way?

(lol that sound quality)
I tend to use the same color but a darker version, but sometimes when I'm being lazy I'll just use black and turn the opacity on the layer I'm using down, then blend a little. But I always try and use a different layer separate from my base color... Doing it all on one layer makes for an awful outcome for me, and leaves for little editing room, which is something I constantly go back and do.
The way I color varies a lot though because I'm still learning and quite often use a different technique, though I try and stay consistent with my prier works, I don't want to limit myself.
If anything I'd say I have a somewhat consistent drawing style that I like to stick with... But my coloring style is just all over the place sometimes lol.
(Sorry for the late reply~)

Ah, okay. Yeah, I used to also do all the shading on different layers. Though, that's really interesting: you used the opacity as a way to shade. I've never heard of that before. ///_o
Doing it all on one layer does take away a lot of editing room, unfortunately, haha.
And no problem with it being a late reply. That's the good thing about text-based conversations. ///_^

Yeah, but the opacity thing is more like when I need to add shadows, and it's really quite useful sometimes. But when I was first beginning I made the mistake as using it as a replacement for shading skin tones/clothing and stuff. lol, don't do that, just don't xD

...Isn't Xion just a female clone of Sora though? Granted, I'm not 100% caught up with the ins and outs of KH, but... I dunno, everything I've seen and heard points to her being female. Also, KH has Kairi, Namine, and Aqua in the way of KH-original females, too. The treatment of them at any given time is a whole different matter, but they exist(ed), I suppose?
(And re: Nobodies, apparently KH3D gives a whole new dimension to them, and a lot of horror in retrospect in regards to a hell of a lot of other plot points from past games too. My lips are sealed just in case, though. )
The only thing that stands out to me about this picture, aside from the anatomy on Helen that you already noted, is that I think Larxene's hairline should be a little better defined; it looks really weird for her forehead to randomly turn into hair without any rough transition between them. Usually people just do hatchlines to indicate it, because it's... really hard to draw, honestly. But it looks sort of funny otherwise.

Xion, similar to Silent Hill monsters, changes form based on who is looking at him/her/it. Roxas sees a young girl who looks like Kairi, Xigbar sees Ven. But Vexen I think it was Vexen created Xion as a normal Sora replica. A "replora", if you will.
Ah, Larxene is the only original female antagonist. Not the only original female character, haha.
And no spoiling 3D! I'm waiting to play an English version of it, so I dont want the story to be spoiled. ///_^
There's some light line art between the skin and hair on her forehead. That one picture I did of Larx lying down had better line art for her hair. Probably should have done it like that in this one. On another note, I wasn't actually sure how to go about her hair in this picture. Both Mel and Helen have typical large anime-girl heads, but Larxene doesn't.

She is pretty badass (and has one chaotic data boss fight in KH2FM.) But how does she take showers, I wonder. In the manga version of Chain of Memories, she is killed by having water thrown on her which reacts to her element of electricity.

My God! He used contrast techniques! On top of that, you polished your drawing very well (It feels professional when the skin reflects like that). Great job on this one man.

Contrast! This calls for celebration! [link]
Thank you. ///_^
Gotta say, I'm glad it actually turned out this way. I was especially worried about colouring Mel's hair. Those spikes are so weird to shade.
