Description Listening to The Guy Who Doesn't Get It, by Jill Sobule. I in NO WAY claim these words as my own, they are copyright Jill Sobule and WB Music etc... However they may shed some light.

"Can't you tell that I'm dying inside?
Can't you hear my muffled cry?
Do you have to be told a thousand times?
You're the guy who doesn't get it.

...

Say I'm in the tub with a razor blade,
You'd walk in and ask me, "How was your day?"
Then you'd lather up and start to shave
As I bleed on the new tile floor"

It goes on in more sad sad ways, but that is the relevant part I suppose.

I won't pick up a razor but I have a lot of these days when I feel like no one is paying attention to the really obvious signs that something's not right.

I kissed a girl.

"I wish that I was a wrestler, a Mexican wrestler in a red vinyl mask...

I can break your ribs, but I can't break your heart."

Words to live by, yo.

In every song, there is always a message, a message for at least one person in this world to know as true, and that is so true.

There are so many of them in my head. I live a series of lines from liner notes of not-so-popular female musicians with sizeable underground fanbase and one-two songs that showed up on MTV before they seemingly faded to obscurity.

Some of the best bands out there are only with us for only a brief moment, and many of the shitty ones stay with us for years.

All good things must come to an end.

I blame the devil. He gives people way too much of a deal on their souls.

You would think even he would tire of them.

depends on what he's doing with them...like if he's got a cheap storage unit somewhere and he doesn't have to look at them on a day to day basis, I'd suppose it would be an easy thing to endure.

He must have a few fireproof safes to store them in.

Ahhh, depressing...

That's a really nice tub! I want one.

It seems picking up a razor is as obvious a way as possible to get someone to actually notice, you know? A lot of people are very blind. Which is the reason I love psycology! So I can read them all and beat it out of them what nobody else can, before they go and do something to hurt themselves. 'Cause I know what it's like.

My bf's last roommate in the apartment we currently live in, got tired of his girlfriend putting on the razor-act, so he grabbed it from her during a fight, and accidentally cut himself too deep trying to turn the tables. He had to be taken to the hospital, he fainted at the sight of his own blood, so he had to be carried. He covered for her by not mentioning that she was the one actually threatening to hurt herself.

We are still cleaning blood off the walls, and that was a year and a half ago.

Creepy. Probably quite a smack in the face for his girlfriend, I bet.

No, she's a crazy b...well, she got knocked up eventually, so they moved out right before I moved in...she happened to be my bf's ex of only 2 months estrangement so it was very messy.

Her and her wussy baby-daddy were going to get married, but they got in a fight driving 65 mph down the highway and she punched him in the face and tried to jump from the vehicle (thank god for child safety locks). That was the end of marriage plans.

I doubt anything would serve as a wake up call to either of them.
