Hey guys!Here's #2 of my summer series: The fairies!
I wanted there to be a magical touch to it: The glowing lightning bugs around them, the moonlight, the water dripping off of the odd leaf-flowers...etc...
I wanted the picture to look as if you were peering in on them, secretly watching them. It's a personal moment; a touching, simple feeling of awe is supposed to set in.
But it doesn't do that.
Why?
Because I can't color, and my shading sucks. I could've done more with the background, perhaps... TT_TT I wish it would've turned out better. I want that feeling of awe, that amazed feeling of fantasy, as if you were in another world!
...but you just get a drawing...
If I could color it, I'd make everything have a blue tint to it. Everything colored by moonlight, and the lightning bugs would glow and twinkle, the little mushrooms would give off a luminescent blue-green glow...

Sure! I'm working on coloring the phoenix right now. Just make sure you give me credit! I plan on coloring that one as well, so I just want people to be sure which one is the original.
