Kisshu’s Love: Part Two

“AAAAHHH!!! I’m gonna be late again!!” A flash of red hair and a grey school uniform sped down the streets of Tokyo, Japan. Ichigo was running late for school… again. “Ugh! I shouldn’t have been up so late talking to Aoyama last night! I can’t stand it when I oversleep!!! Now I’m gonna be late and if I’m late, I’ll have another demerit and I won’t get to see Aoyama-Kun at his match today!!! AAAAAHH!!! He’ll be so mad!” She looked at her cell phone to check the time. It was 8:57. “What?!?!? Three minutes left?? This is crazy! Mew Mew Strawberry, Metamor-i-phooo-sis!!” Her golden amulet sparkled, but nothing else happened. “I don’t have time for this!!” She stopped for a minute to catch her breath. She suddenly remembered that she couldn’t metamorphose because Kisshu and the others weren’t terrorizing Tokyo anymore.

“…Kisshu,” Ichigo whispered. She looked towards the sky. It was a beautiful morning. The sun was out, there were a few clouds, and there was a small breeze that made the temperature perfect. It was the first time she’d thought of him since he left. While she thought of him, his smile, his face, his always wanting her to be his, her stomach tumbled and she felt light. But at the same time, she felt almost sick at the thought of him not being there. She snapped back to reality when a car honked at her. She realized she was in the middle of the street and dashed away, face red with embarrassment at the fact that she was both in the middle of the street and that she was thinking about Kisshu. “What am I doing? I can’t miss him. He was psychotic! Besides, I love Aoyama-Kun. Yeah… I do. I think… Yes.” Ichigo kept trying to tell herself that, but for some reason couldn’t shake the thought of him being back on Earth with her.

The glow from the ship’s monitor was reflecting onto Kisshu’s face. “How much time is left?!” Taruto asked eagerly. “Seven hours exactly,” Kisshu replied to an instantly disappointed younger brother. “Ohhh…” he moaned. He begrudgingly walked away back towards his temporary bedroom and closed the door. “Pai, what’s our plan when we get there?” Kisshu asked. Pai walked into the main computer room with his orb in his hand. He tapped a small floating button which displayed a series of alien markings that displayed their ideas. “We land in a discreet area on the outskirts of Tokyo. As the night moves on, we send out this chimera anima,” and Pai displayed an image of a rather massive and quite ugly tiger- looking animal, “to attack the girls. Judging by the studies I’ve been doing on human behaviors, which are surprisingly similar to ours, they need sleep as well. If we all get our rest soon, we’ll be awake and the girls will be too tired to fight.”

He closed down the orb and looked directly at Kisshu, who seemed to look very interested in the idea. Of course, he wasn’t, but he couldn’t let Pai know that. “We then send out another chimera anima, one that shares its DNA with a bloodhound. It will search around Tokyo and lead us to the Mew Aqua.” He looked at Kisshu with confidence in his plan and then walked away towards his room. “Get some sleep, Kisshu. We all need it.” Kisshu looked on at the monitor with a regretful face, but he longed to see Ichigo. He was getting more excited that he was going to Earth, but he knew it wouldn’t go well. He turned the screen off and walked to his room, closing the door and lied on his bed, daydreaming of how he would greet Ichigo. He laughed quietly to himself and closed his eyes. “You’ll be surprised, kitten.”
