Very interesting composition, and the charcoal really adds a touch of emotion/atmosphere to it as well. Nicely done!

I honestly thought this was a photo to begin with - WOW! the time this must have taken you is unbelievable - and as others have said it truly does draw you in, and how the stairs get darker the further down you look is chillingly atmospheric. My favourite however has to be the little scraps of wallpaper scattered everywhere (though the cobwebs are a close second!)

Well, it may sound all weird, but once I saw it, it kind of reminded me of the interior of the abandoned "Church of Starry Wisdom" in H.P. Lovecraft's "The Haunter of the Dark".
