I admit, she really was so weak and "useless" in part 1 of Naruto, she couldn't do anything on her own. But I think that's the point - she became so powerful because of her will to get stronger and she really worked hard for it.
At first I was kinda shocked because of that "useless" but now I totally understand what you mean, so yeah it's alright, don't worry. As long as you respect my opinion I will also respect yours.
