Description
I just wanted to draw Yami Yugi (Atem) and Layla (Yami Naomi) together in modern times, and I ended up using a reference where Atem is looking at Joey's Red Eyes Black Dragon card in the episode where he duels with Arcana (or Pandora in the original version). Since it's been a while since I drew the outfit that Naomi wore in the Battle City arc (which is one of my favorite arcs), also I made the decision that Naomi/Layla decided to put her braided hair in a ponytail since I know the girl will be dueling. I was actually inspired by Aerith's hairstyle.
