A picture of (what was supposed to be) a quick sketch that I wanted to do of one of my villains, Rizo Mori, from mine and RoseMei 's original story. I had to draw him because everything about him is wonderful to me; even though he is very creepy and weirds me out a little. That's probably because he is always smiling and his Magic is rather vile.I spent too long on this; really, way too long! But that seems to be the case with all of my artwork in the last year. It was just supposed to be a sketch, but I couldn't stand how much I loved it so I had to ink it and color it. I had trouble with the skin tones and the color of his hair as well as the coloring overall, and I thought "I'm unhappy with it and I can't post it!" However, I refused to give up and went back in, fixed up his skin and recolored his hair. I also am trying new styles for eyes as I am bored/unhappy with my eyes of late. I am going for something specific and this isn't it exactly, but it helped greatly for the picture that is to come next week.
I also made my first brush! I wanted an arcane circle and I wanted it a certain way, so I decided that the only way to do it would be to make it myself. While practice needs to be had in order to get better, I am very happy with it and I have no complaints. So now I feel satisfied and I need to keep working hard to improve myself.

Nice! It seems that appearances can be very deceiving because I could never have guessed that he is a bad guy! But, looking at him closely, he has that expression -or the lack of it- that make someone to think that he is hiding something, something vile

He would probably say that he's hiding nothing, but he just hasn't been asked. I like him because he's young and is kind and is quite a terrible human being. ^_^
I love that you wouldn't have guessed him to be a bad guy! (though there is a dark wall of skulls barely visible in the background ;3 I was sneaky along with the circles) ^_^

FIRST OFF THANK YOU!
Second, it is funny that you mention the hair (I know you say it--and I always love hearing it since it sometimes kills me) because this one is one that I redid twice. Considering the size of it, it took forever. However, the first one you could not see the details.
Third, I'm trying SO hard to get the eyes how I want--this was a HUGE step in that direction for me and I hope the next picture will really show off what is the closest thing I have done in getting to what I want.
