That's beautifully done. Especially the subtle shift from more organic parts, as her hand and face, to the very mechanized ones....like her thighs. It is a picture which draws me in, and allows me to identify the longer I watch. I probably give it more thought than others, but what does the expression on her face tell me? I see it in context with her fingers carefully grabbing for her back....and her fingertips feel the cold steel. Does she still feel? Or is her perception already gradually shifting to incoming data. She is not in panic at all, and though her face still has no "blank" expression, one can already sense that her ability to undergo human emotional reactions is slowly fading.

It's strange sense as mind filling facts. Just few moments ago she feels as cold her back. It be alarmingly. But now she just knows then temperature delta with her fingers and back equals to n degrees, then hardness and texture of her back is approximately correspond to the metal alloy, she perceives light electromagnetic waves coming from the wires in her back and many other facts from her sensory system...

And I do not think that her emotions fade. No, they are even more accurate. Just emotions are transformed into assessments and will no longer modifiers of perception. And it does not require an immediate reaction, especially in the form of primitive screams and facial reactions. Now they are used for efficiently decision-making.

Now she understands exactly what turns into a robot, it's almost become.
She understands exactly what will not be able to stop it or cancel it. Therefore, she takes an decision not to scream, therefore calms down her face.

Her old life is over. This is a minus. She, generally,Β  liked her old body, but the new is not yet completed and has not been explored. This uncertainty. She obviously has lost part of the functionality of the body. This is a minus. She is alive - technically. That's a plus. She became durable. That's a plus. She kept free will. That's a plus. Her mind became more efficient. That's a plus.
Conclusion: become a robot is not so bad. Requires further study.

And she smiled consciously

Thanks. It would not be possible without your comment as initial point.

Her story could be expand, but there are too many things that need dream up. Even this part was made possible under the assumption that she had been human, that she got this body suddenly and her brain was completely robotized.
However, I was even wondering what she would be at the end of the conversion.

Probably the scene began when she came to sense, when her mind until finishing reconstructed in the computer. She felt naked and tried to hide behind. At that moment she felt under the fingers metal. And at the same time I felt the touch of your fingers to herself. Her eyes fell on the metal of her body and the expression of horror reflected in her face, but before she could scream... Her mind became completely computer. Next you known.

I think in future she replace more parts of her body which look like skin to metal parts. Its look more durable. And metal look more beautiful from her point of view as robot.

Well, to continue like more original ideas. MoreΒ assumption. If you are wondering...

So, plenty of practice painting metal, or do you still use some sort of reference?
(wicked!!-esp that you still kept a sense of skeleton to her, like the ribs )

Lotsa experience drawing metal surfaces. No reference for this piece. Cars are the perfect things to study for shiny metal surfaces. Also, I have this trophy back from HS with a chromed figure on top. I have studied him in various setups to analyze how reflections work on an organic human form.
I like throwing hints of plausibility. For me it's so interesting to try to figure out how a cybernetic human would look under the surface. I like to make the comparison to cars. I can admire the exterior beauty of the line & curves, but I'm also fascinated with all the underlying components how they all come together to make it function.
